Cottonseed cake is the co-product of oil extraction from cottonseeds. Cottonseed meal is the term applied to the ground cottonseed cake from which most of the oil has been extracted. Cottonseed cake is used as a protein supplement and can replace soybean meal and other protein sources in the ration.

Soybeans prior to oil extraction are referred to as full fat soybeans. Properly processed full fat soybeans are a valuable feed ingredient because of their energy, protein, linoleic acid, vitamin E and lecithin contents. Soybean meal represents more than 50% of the total oilseed meal production.

Sunflower meal, also called sunflower oilcake, is a biologically and economically useful protein source for cattle. It is the product obtained by grinding flakes after most of the oil has been removed by either solvent or mechanical extraction processes.

Soya oil cake is one of the essential plant-based protein sources for fodders. It is a vital, raw material necessary for the production of combined fodders and as a result of the production process provide a significant amount of protein and energy.

Sugar bean (common bean) is a grain legume which is very nutritious and rich in protein.
The leaves, green pods, young and mature seeds are edible. The crop residues are good
feed for livestock or form a good basis for compost manure.

Corn gluten meal is a multi-functional, high-protein ingredient, and a valuable source of the amino acid methionine in feeds for livestock, pets and fish. Corn gluten meal is extracted from corn kernels after the larger part of the starch and germ have been separated during the milling process.

The peanut, also known as the groundnut, goober, pindar or monkey nut, and taxonomically classified as Arachis hypogaea, is a legume crop grown mainly for its edible seeds. It is widely grown in the tropics and subtropics, being important to both small and large commercial producers.
